WORKSHOP: MESSAGE UP YOUR APRON

Aprons are one of the ultimate symbols of the 1950s domestic goddess, and while they have retro appeal, they come with baggage. Join craftivists Sharon McDonough and Jem Olsen with artist Kait James to work with you to devise, design and execute ways to adapt or update your apron to make it an expression of your own identity and stance on identity, gender politics and social justice issues. The workshop will start with a tour of the exhibition Hang us out to dry with artist Kait James.

Tickets: Adult $60, Gallery Members $48, includes vintage apron.
