Big and little: Works from the collection

until 5 Mar

A flower, a shed, a cow, the sky – when different artists look at the same subject, they choose to render them in very different ways. Sometimes the same artist will choose to portray the same subject on very different scales.

This quirky exhibition presents some of the largest and some of the smallest depictions of similar subjects to be found in the Gallery collection, including works by artists as diverse as Ivan Durrant, Inge King, Lionel Lindsay, William Robinson, Ellis Rowan and Gareth Sansom.
