DIANNE DICKSON: MY CYBERSPACE STUDIO
Dianne Dickson draws from her background growing up in Victoria’s Mallee, her training as an artist at the Victorian College of the Arts and time spent teaching in maximum security prisons in her work which expresses the darker side of the human experience, using the human figure to create real and imagined mindscapes.
At a time when she finds herself without a work studio, Dickson explores the possibilities of her phone as a place to make work, enjoying the way it can mimic traditional artmaking processes.
